"Goosebumps" film has a new writer?

Columbia Pictures have owned the rights to R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" series since 2008, but they have struggled to launch a movie. Looks like they are giving it another go and they have hired a writer to take a new approach to the film.
According to online sources Darren Lemke (Jack The Giant Killer, Shrek Forever After) is finalising a deal to make a big screen adaptation of the R.L. Stine books.
